Our students' journey to NASA continues
They went to the Houston Space Center this time and met Professor Tess Caswell, who had spent a month in the Space Habitat Analog (HERA). During the day, young inventors worked on developing a Mars habitat for astronauts.
We want to remind you that the 2022 winning team of the Millennium Innovation Competition LIGGA traveled to NASA, and two of its members, Irakli Kutsnashvili and Alexi Kukhianidze, are American International School Progress students.
The Millennium Innovation Competition has been held in Georgia since 2015 with the funding of the US Embassy.
Marekhi Mazanashvili and Uta Kilasonia, heads of the American International School Progress STEM Club, guided the team.
"Radiation research, monitoring, and safety system" - the team's project allows them to manage the quantity of radiation in rooms and buildings and determine the region of its spread.
